Neden Reşat'ın Sözde Yetkilendirilmiş İngilizce Kur'an Meali Okunmaz

Argüman özeti: Reşat Halife’nin Authorized English Version adıyla sunduğu çeviri, “versiyon” adı altında sözde ilâhî onay iddiası taşır. Oysa Arapça metinle karşılaştırıldığında çok sayıda anlam kayması ve bazı yerlerde hiç çevrilmemiş / yeniden yazılmış ifadeler vardır.

أَفَلَا يَتَدَبَّرُونَ الْقُرْآنَ وَلَوْ كَانَ مِنْ عِندِ غَيْرِ اللَّهِ لَوَجَدُوا فِيهِ اخْتِلَافًا كَثِيرًا

Öyle ki derinlemesine tartıp ele almazlar mı / düşünüp taşınmazlar mı Kur’ân’ı; ve eğer olmasaydı Allah’ın indinden / katından; mutlak bulurlardı onda çokça ihtilâf. (en-Nisâ 4:82)

Sonuç: Hatalı bir çeviri Yüce Allah’a isnat edilemez. Kur’ân ihtilâfsızdır; hatâlı bir İngilizce “yetkilendirilmiş versiyon” ise Allah’ın kelâmı veya O’nun onayladığı bir metin olamaz — olsa olsa beşerî bir çeviridir. Aşağıdaki tablo, Corpus Arapça karşılaştırmasıyla sure 1–14’teki güçlü anlam kaymalarını gösterir.

Yalnız güçlü kaymalar listelenmiştir. Sınıflandırma Corpus kelime düzeyinde karşılaştırmaya dayanır.

2 — Bakara

2:286	إصرا … ما لا طاقة لنا به … وارحمنا	Pardon us and forgive us	Burden/covenant + what we cannot bear + and have mercy on us.	İsar/yük, güç yetmez, rahmet — sıkışmış veya düşmüş.

8 — Enfâl

8:42	ولو تواعدتم لاختلفتم في الميعاد	Had you planned it this way, you could not have done it	Had you appointed a meeting, you would have disagreed about the time.	Randevu anlaşmazlığı → “planlasaydınız yapamazdınız”.
8:47	بطرا	grudgingly	Insolently / with arrogant pride.	Şımarıklık → “isteksizce”.
8:60	رباط الخيل	all the equipment you can mobilize	Prepared horses / cavalry tether.	At bağı/süvari → genel “teçhizat”.
8:67	حتى يثخن في الأرض	unless he participates in the fighting	Until he has thoroughly subdued [the enemy] in the land.	Yerde ağırlık salmak → sadece “savaşa katılmak”.
8:71	فأمكن منهم	He made them the losers	So He gave you power over them.	Onlara imkân/güç → “onları kaybettirdi”.

9 — et-Tevbe

9:97	الْأَعْرَابُ	The Arabs	Bedouin Arabs (al-aʿrāb), not Arabs in general.	A‘râb (bedevî Araplar) → tüm “Araplar”.
9:107	ضِرَارًا وَكُفْرًا وَتَفْرِيقًا	abuse the masjid by practicing idol worship, dividing…	For harm, disbelief, and division — not specifically “idol worship”.	Zarar + küfür + ayrılık → “putperestlik uygulamaları”.
9:112	السَّائِحُونَ	the meditators	Travelers / wanderers (or fasters in some tafsīr) — not “meditators”.	Sâihûn → “meditasyon yapanlar” (3:17–41 çizgisi).

10 — Yûnus

11 — Hûd

13 — er-Ra‘d

14 — İbrâhîm
